Answer B is Correct. Using recovery plans, you can customize and sequence the failover and recovery of multi-tier applications running on multiple VMs. You group machines together in a recovery plan, and optionally add scripts and manual actions. Recovery plans can be integrated with Azure Automation runbooks. Note: This functionality is currently supported for Region-to-Region replication and will be available on Azure Public MEC soon.

Answer B is Correct. Option B: A recovery plan allows you to orchestrate the failover of multiple Azure virtual machines (VMs) as a group, ensuring that they fail over together in a coordinated manner. This includes specifying the order in which VMs fail over, setting dependencies between VMs, and configuring any necessary scripts or automation to run during the failover process.

Options A and C are not directly related to orchestrating the failover of VMs as a group: A. An availability zone: Availability zones are a high-availability offering that protects your applications and data from datacenter failures. While they provide redundancy within a region, they are not specifically used to orchestrate the failover of VMs as a group. C. An availability set: Availability sets are used to ensure that VMs are distributed across multiple physical hardware nodes within a datacenter to ensure high availability. While they help protect against localized hardware failures, they do not provide failover orchestration capabilities like a recovery plan.
